WHAT DOES PTO DO?  HOW ARE PTO FUNDS USED?

  • We host several teachers’ luncheons each year as well as giving annual teacher gifts.
  • We organize volunteers to assist with students, laptops, nurses, library, administrative tasks, and celebrations.
  • We run 3 fundraisers each year, including the annual Memory Book
We take on large giving projects, chosen by the principal and PTO Board, which will benefit as many students as possible.  Recently these have included a multi-year library renovation (including repainting and installing additional charging ports to accommodate laptops and increase accessibility for digital learning) and refurbishing the teachers’ lounge (in lieu of individual gifts.)  This year, our goal is to purchase a class set of VR goggles and iPods, to provide a new type of  21st century learning experience for students! https://edu.google.com/expeditions/#about
