Texas State Immunization Requirements
The State of Texas requires all students to have proof of current immunizations to attend school.
All seventh graders are required to have the following immunizations before the first day of school.
1. Tetanus/Diptheria/Pertussis
Students will be required to have one booster dose of tetanus/diptheria/pertussis vaccine (TDaP) if at least 5 years have passed since the last dose of tetanus vaccine. If 5 years have not elapsed, then this dose will become due as soon as the 5 year interval passes.
2. Meningococcal
Students are required to have one dose of Meningococcal vaccine by the seventh grade.
