Bearcubs of the Week:
8th grade:
Eric Huerta is a self-motivated leader who joyfully participates in class discussions while positively interacting with his peers. Eric never minds starting the conversation and is a great listener when others are sharing.
Rhea "Rain" Wosnitzky is a creative thinker who spends time outside of class preparing for performances, sewing props and costumes, and going the extra mile to make our class successful.
7th grade:
Brady Holcomb has a positive outlook and radiates joy in the classroom. He is a risk-taker and a friend to all.
Alizay Malik exemplifies Bearcub RISE! She is a leader that is quiet but still leads with integrity. I can count on her to get things done.
6th grade:
Paula Moros Hernandez goes above what is asked in her learning, she takes notes- even when not asked. She is respectful to others that are learning, she is absolutely showing integrity and making positive choices! She is awesome!
Dezmond Lawson represents RISE. He is mature, responsible and hard-working.

Our 7th grade Football B-Team won their game against Hofius with a score of 12-0 on Monday night. On Tuesday night, 8th grade boys traveled to Hofius to play football. The Bearcubs battled but came in short in both games. Outstanding players from last night’s game are: Tony Ross, Luis Gonzales, Edgar James, Pierre Stewart, Dustin Thompson, Brayden McCombs, and Brock McGavock. Next week the 8th grade boys travel to Klein Intermediate to open Zone play.

Library Happenings
Check out our Library Happenings Schedule for the month of September. Mark your calendars to participate on Schoology or in Person. Each week there will be a winner from the pool of participants!
After-School Events:
No backpacks and no outside food/drinks will be allowed at after-school events, including games and performances. Students must remain in dress code, including wearing their own school-issued ID badge, and may not remain on campus after the school day is over to wait for the game to start. All students must either remain sitting with an adult or in the student section ONLY. No foul language will be used and all students will follow the Kleb Core expectations at all times. Students should stay seated in the stands unless it is halftime or between games. Students will start calling for rides at the beginning of 4th quarter. Once the game is over, students will not be supervised once they exit the stadium/campus. Should a student not adhere to Kleb Core (R.I.S.E), they may not be allowed to attend other events.
TAE Info
Fill out the Teacher Achieving Excellence form if you wish to show your appreciation for a teacher at Kleb. This is a great way to let our teachers know how valued they are each day!
Amazon wishlist:
It's almost that time, and we are excited to continue with our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) incentives. PBIS allows us to create a positive school culture, promote character development, and notice and recognize students for following our core values. Students have the opportunity to earn positive rewards and celebrations throughout the school year.
We have created a Kleb PBIS Wishlist (Amazon Wishlist) to help us kickstart our incentive program. If you want to donate, please click the link to our Amazon Wishlist and make your purchase. Items bought from the list will be shipped directly to Kleb. You may also drop off items at the front office for Mrs. Burton.
